Problem :

Choosing the right contraception online is overwhelming due to the sheer volume of medical options and side effects. The legacy interface presented complex medical data in dense text blocks. This layout caused high cognitive overload, leaving patients anxious and unsure of which solution fit their body and lifestyle.

Solution :

I designed a guided, highly intuitive assessment flow that simplified contraceptive comparison. The new experience structured medical information into easy-to-digest visual cards.

I implemented clear comparison filters based on user habits, medical history, and preference, helping patients make confident, informed choices.

Challenge :

The primary difficulty was balancing user anxiety with strict medical compliance. We had to collect sensitive, mandatory health data without making the questionnaire feel like an interrogation.

Every interactive step had to feel incredibly private and supportive while ensuring the clinical algorithm gathered perfect data for the prescribing doctors.

Summary :

The redesigned contraception guide successfully transformed a complex medical decision into a supportive digital experience. The optimized flow significantly reduced drop-off rates during the intake questionnaire.

Ultimately, the new layout made essential healthcare highly accessible and gave patients absolute confidence in their remote prescription choices.
